Stainless Neck Inserts

I have found this to be a great alternative to the standard wood screws used in most bolt-on guitar applications. Stainless steel inserts are installed in the neck, with stainless steel machine screws being used to attach the body to neck. The inserts allow for installation and removal of the neck without fear of wearing out or stripping the wood threads inside the neck. Also, this combination allows for additional torque to be applied to the screw.  These screws have a lot more mass than traditional wood screws.

See the products section to get your own insert kit.  Each kit includes 4 stainless steel wood inserts, and 4 stainless steel phillips oval head machine screws.  Ferrules also available!!

Or, send me your neck for installation.  E-mail for quote.

In this installation, the traditional neck mounting hole locations needed to be moved inward. 1/4" dowels did the trick.
