I decided on a teal top with a natural mahogany back. I wanted to accentuate the "flame" in the maple.

A primary application of black dye, sanded back can acchieve this effect.

This works with any color you choose. I chose teal.

I used black grainfiller, followed by Z-poxy to form a solid base for the nitro clearcoat..

 

Now lets wire it up and get it all together.
